    Barbara Westre is a dedicated Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS) Counselor who has developed a support group that addresses the needs and support methods of students who have traumatic and acquired brain injury. The group often has guest speakers and offers a good place to learn of community resources for TBI. Call for more information on the support group.

    Services to Students with Disabilities (SSWD) offers a wide range of support services and accommodations for students in order to ensure students with disabilities have equal access and opportunity to pursue their educational goals.

    Services and accommodations are provided to students with visual, hearing, mobility impairments, specific learning disabilities, psychiatric disorders, and/or other types of disabilities. Students must submit medical or professional documentation prior to meeting with a counselor for a needs assessment and accommodation plan.

    Working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff and administrators, SSWD provides consultation and serves as the information resource on disability related issues to the campus community.
