BART trains run through Alameda County, Contra Costa County, San Francisco County, and San Mateo County. BART also offers a riders guide with information on access for people with disabilities.

Berkeley Paratransit Services assists persons with disabilities and those 70 years of age or over by providing four programs that enhance their access to different transportation services. The four programs are: Taxi Scrip Program, Wheelchair-Van Program, East Bay Paratransit Tickets, and Medical Return Trip Improvement Program.
