    AC Transit provides wheelchair accessible bus services throughout Alameda. East Bay Paratransit provides services for people with disabilities who are unable to use the regular bus services throughout Alameda County. Dial 511 then say “AC Transit” to speak with a person about route information including time points, destinations, or trip planning.

    Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) provides transportation services for the general public throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. BART trains run through Alameda County, Contra Costa County, San Francisco County, and San Mateo County. BART also offers a riders guide with information on access for people with disabilities.

    Berkeley Paratransit Services assists persons with disabilities and those 70 years of age or over by providing four programs that enhance their access to different transportation services. The four programs are: Taxi Scrip Program, Wheelchair-Van Program, East Bay Paratransit Tickets, and Medical Return Trip Improvement Program.
